Thailand has a deep base of privately held industrial companies (auto parts, food processing, industrial equipment) that the databases most investors screen with cover thinly, if at all. The international platforms follow the listed market and the deals that have already been intermediated.

The companies worth finding early file audited accounts with the Department of Business Development, in Thai, across portals that were never built to be read at scale. The filings are public. What is missing is someone who reads them, structures them the same way every time, and says plainly which numbers are reported and which are estimated. TIP exists because I wanted that database and could not find it.

Fifteen years in industrial finance across Southeast Asia, with a private equity background and a senior finance role inside a large manufacturing group in the region. The remit runs past finance into operational improvement and maintenance programmes.

That is the lens the research is written through. Margin trajectory, capex intensity and customer concentration are things I have had to manage on a live P&L, not only model from the outside.

Every target is built from primary sources: DBD audited accounts, SET disclosures where the company or its parent is listed, and trade press. Figures are taken from the filings rather than reconstructed, and where a number is inferred it is flagged as an estimate.

Every company gets the same structure, a pitch and risk check followed by the full case and profile, so profiles are comparable rather than bespoke. AI structures the profiles and powers the search. It does not produce the numbers.
