Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Thai Industrial Platform (“TIP”, “we”) collects, why, and what rights you have. We aim to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection law in the jurisdictions where we operate.
1. What we collect
- Your email address, when you sign in or subscribe to the newsletter. This is the only personal detail we ask you for.
- Authentication data — session information handled by our authentication provider so you stay signed in.
We do not ask for, and do not store, payment details. TIP is free and takes no payment. We do not currently run product analytics or any third-party tracking on this site.
2. Why we process it
- To give you access to the database and research — our legitimate interest in delivering the free service you signed up for.
- To send the monthly letter, only where you have opted in (consent). You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
3. Who processes data on our behalf
- Clerk — authentication and sign-in
- Loops — email delivery
- Substack — the newsletter publication, where you subscribe there
- Vercel — hosting
Each processes data on our behalf under standard data processing terms. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers.
4. Retention
We keep your email while your account is active. If you unsubscribe, we remove you from the mailing list within 30 days. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@thaiindustrialplatform.com and we will respond within 30 days.
6. Cookies
We use only cookies that are strictly necessary for sign-in and session management. We do not set analytics or advertising cookies, and there is nothing on this site that requires a cookie consent banner.
7. Company information published on TIP
TIP publishes research on companies, drawn from official public filings and other public records. Where this includes information about individuals (for example directors or shareholders named in public filings), we process it on the basis of legitimate interest in providing business research.
